You pay only for the natural-language ask — a markup on the model's own price, relayed through the gateway carrying the column names and up to 8 cloaked rows. If the sheet has 8 or fewer rows, all its rows are included in the sample. No free relay; no direct provider bypass.

Honest answers
What exactly is billed?
Only the natural-language analysis ask. Cloaking, parsing, the grid and the on-device Python runtime cost nothing and need no account.
Does my data ever reach the model?
The model receives your question, instructions, column names and up to 8 rows in cloaked form; a sheet with 8 or fewer rows contributes every row to the sample. Every value the engine detected is a surrogate; cell values it did not detect may remain as written. The request body receipt reports the UTF-8 byte size of the JSON body your browser posted to the same-origin relay, plus sample text counts. It excludes HTTP headers and transport bytes and does not measure bytes received by the gateway.
What if checkout isn't ready for this product yet?
We never fake an entitlement. If the billing rail isn't provisioned for cloak-sheets, we send you to your CloakAPI account to manage the subscription — and cloaking keeps working regardless.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your CloakAPI account. Billing is month-to-month. Per-seat on Business.
